Let's connect! By sharing my background with you I hope you'll find we have a few things in common.
I began building my business knowledge in commercial real estate lending with Union Bank; continuing my financial knowledge as Assistant Vice President in Portfolio Banking with Wells Fargo Bank. As Director of Human Resources with Mayfield Publishing Company I created and developed the human resource component of the company.
Always an interior design enthusiast I became an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP™). This training is beneficial to both my Buyers and Sellers. As you know preparing a home for market is essential not only for the visitor but for the photos used in the marketing materials. This knoweldge has also come in handy for Buyers when trying to determine the best way to furnish a room to suit their lifestyle.
One segment of my community I'm very committed to serving is Seniors. To become a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, I spent many hours in training and continue to seek information on how to best serve this group of very dear people. Assisting seniors and their families in identifying and addressing the unique challenges seniors face not only in their real estate needs, but in all aspects of their lives is very rewarding to me.
I have been dedicated to living “green” for several decades; I took my commitiment to the next level by earning the Eco Broker certification and the National Association of Realtors GREEN designation. This additional education provides me with knowledge to identify the current eco-friendly attributes of a home and determine additional ways to lessen the carbon footprint of a home.
My husband and I, along with “Chico”, moved to Green Valley in May 2008 after living in the Santa Clara Valley (aka Silicon Valley) for forty five years. My oldest daughter lives a “green” life in Portland, Oregon while my younger daughter is in the process of transfering from Arizona State University to Portland State University.
I am a member of the Green Valley Chamber of Commerce and support the Long Realty Cares Foundation by donating a portion of the commission I receive from each transaction to better the lives of those in need in our community.
